Pure dragon is by far the best dragon for stadium and league fight. Luck is also big factor here since breeding Pure and Pure Elemental can give you any dragon. For example you want Pure Dark dragon, you can use Pure and Dark dragon combination, or you can use Pure and Neon (Electric and Dark) which can also give you Pure Electric dragon. Pure Elemental dragons are obtained by breeding Pure with a single element dragon or with hybrid dragon. The breeding time and hatching time is also insane so having upgraded hatchery and breeding tree is an obvious advantage when you are shooting for this dragon. You need tons of luck to acquire this dragon. Pure Dragon can be obtained by breeding two legendary dragons. It is divided into two types, the Pure and the Pure Elemental. These are the next generation dragon and only obtain at high level. Legendary dragons are also stronger than those rare dragons so if you get them, level them up and use them in stadium and league fights. You can also buy those legendary dragon using gems or by using dragon city cheat. You can of course use another rare dragon combo since it is based on luck. The most used combination is using Cool Fire with another Cool Fire because they have the shortest breeding time of all the rare dragon combination. All these legendary dragons share a common rule which is breeding Rare dragon with another Rare dragon. They are much harder to obtain but the combination for its breeding is really easy. This dragon has a high gold production and their habitat can hold a large amount of gold so this doesn’t require a lot of clicking. This type of dragon is one of the most wanted since they are really good in gold production. You can buy them using gems or you can use dragon city hack to get them. These dragons are really good in the stadium and league fight so I recommend having these dragons early. There are a lot of combinations possibly, and no one knows which the best is since luck plays a significant role here. Other combination would be Medieval and Alpine (Ice – Earth). For example you want a Cool Fire Dragon (Fire + Ice), you can breed Medieval (Fire – Metal) with Ice Dragon.
The only way to obtain this dragon is by breeding dual elemental dragon with a basic dragon or with two dual elemental dragons. They are much harder to breed since they cannot be breed by using basic element dragon.
These are the dragons that have two elements directly opposite to each other. These dragons that have two elements which is directly opposite to each other belongs to another types known as the rare dragons.
For example you cannot breed Fire with Ice or Metal with Earth. You can breed any basic element dragon to another basic element except the one directly opposite to it as shown in the picture above. I still keep the duplicate dragon to increase the gold production until I run out of space. I personally delete dragon if I run out of space. Mark those dragons you obtain and delete those duplicate dragons to save space. Best strategy here is to make a checklist of all those dragons including its element and breeding time so that you can easily manage your playing time in accordance to the breeding time. Sometimes, breeding two basic dragons won’t give you the dragon you are aiming for since most of the basic combination offers multiple dragon as a result. For example you want Neon Dragon (Electric and Dark), you just need to breed Electric and Dark dragon. These are the dragons that are easiest to obtain. Normal dragons are those dragons that can be breed using two basic element dragons. Since they are single element, they cannot be breed and can only be bought.
